Asphalt 9: Legends, a game that was ported to the Mac using Apple's Mac Catalyst tools, is now available for download from the Mac App Store. The app was one of the titles that Apple promoted. Asphalt 9 Legends has been ported over to the Mac platform via the Mac Catalyst app and can now be downloaded at the Mac App Store. The first time we saw Catalyst was during the June WWDC alongside macOS Catalina. Back then, game developer Gameloft mentioned that Asphalt 9 will be delayed to further ‘polish’ the experience for a few months. Overview

Asphalt 9: Legends is a racing game in the series that focuses on fast driving fun. This year the game adds new cars, a wide range of accessible control schemes, race modes, and nitro boosts for extra speed.
You drive a range of hundreds of cars, each from a different class and progressively featuring higher performance and rarity. You start with a car in the lowest class (Class D), the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X and work your way up. Each car can be customized with paint jobs, rims, and brake calipers.
Racing is fast and furious and towards the quick competitive end of the spectrum rather than realism. You can use 'nitro shockwave' to increase speed substantially. There are three modes: Career, Multiplayer, and Events. There are three race types: racing, time attack and hunted where you must escape the police
The game features tracks set in Cairo, the Himalayas, the U.S. Midwest, Scotland, and Caribbean. It also brings back five locations from previous games in the series: San Francisco, Rome, New York City, Shanghai and Osaka.

The game includes an autopilot mode called Touch Drive on mobile platforms. It offers three control schemes: Tilt to Steer, Tap to Steer, and Touch Drive in which the player selects routes and stunts by swiping left and right.
On PC and Switch, Touch Drive can be used with tilt or touchscreen and an accelerometer. You can also play in a two button mode the left trigger is break/drift and the right trigger is the nitrous boost.
